Reusely didn’t begin as a software idea. It began as a problem we were living with every day.

We were running trade-in and buyback operations ourselves, handling pricing, shipping, intake, condition checks, payouts, and customer follow-ups. And no matter how hard we worked, the same issues kept showing up.
Nothing was connected.

Pricing lived in one tool. Shipping lived in another. Status updates were scattered. Teams relied on spreadsheets, emails, and manual checks just to keep programs moving.

Trade-ins weren’t failing because customers didn’t want them.  They were failing because operations were fragmented. As volume grew, the pain became impossible to ignore. Every new location, partner, or category added more complexity. More tools. More manual steps. More room for errors.

So instead of adding another workaround, we decided to fix the problem at its core. We started building systems to connect pricing, logistics, item tracking, and payouts into one operational flow. First for ourselves, then for others facing the same challenges.

What began as an internal solution quickly became something bigger.
We realized this wasn’t just our problem. It was a shared problem across retailers, carriers, marketplaces, ITAD providers, and recommerce teams everywhere.

That’s when Reusely became a platform.

Today, Reusely exists to help businesses run trade-in and buyback programs without the operational chaos we experienced firsthand. We build for clarity over complexity, systems over spreadsheets, and growth without rebuilds. Because when trade-ins work operationally, they work for everyone.

A logistics-first foundation turned into a full platform built to scale trade-ins globally.

Logistics-first foundation

Reusely began as a specialized digital solution built to streamline logistics and trade-ins for a single company. One of our earliest innovations was a fully automated shipping label integration, helping trade-ins move faster, with fewer errors and manual steps.

2011

Trade-Ins in Physical Retail

To better understand trade-ins on the ground, we opened our first buyback retail locations. Starting with 2 stores, we ran trade-ins directly with customers, gaining hands-on insight into pricing, intake, logistics, and payout challenges.

2016

Building the Engineering Core

We opened a dedicated research & development center in Indonesia to transform operational learnings into structured, scalable software.

2017

Scaling Retail Operations

By 2020, we expanded to 7 physical trade-in and buyback stores.  Running trade-ins at scale reinforced the same pattern everywhere: pricing, shipping, status tracking, and payouts needed to live in one connected system.

2020

Reusely Becomes a Platform

What started as internal tooling officially became Reusely, a full-fledged trade-in and buyback platform. The goal was clear: help thousands of businesses digitize, standardize, and scale trade-in operations without rebuilding from scratch.

Global logistics partnerships

To support cross-border trade-ins, we partnered with leading global logistics providers. This enabled clients to expand into new regions while keeping shipping, tracking, and execution consistent.

2023

Catalog Expansion at Scale

Reusely’s catalog expanded beyond electronics, growing past 200,000 supported items, and continuing to scale. Today, the platform supports 400,000+ SKUs, helping businesses run trade-ins across more categories and use cases.

2024

Expanding Across Europe & APAC

Reusely entered new markets across Europe and APAC, supporting multi-region operations with localized workflows, currencies, and compliance needs, officially becoming a global platform.
