What’s New

You can now disable the search bar in your widget via a new toggle in Widget Settings. This gives you more control over the checkout flow—perfect for teams who prefer a cleaner, more direct experience.
This update also adds support for customizing the placeholder text inside the search field when enabled.

🛠️ Key Features

  • 🔘 Toggle to Hide Search Bar in Widget Settings

  • 🔤 Editable Search Field Text when search is enabled

  • 🧭 Smart Handling for Widget Starting Point:
If “Search” is selected as the widget starting point, the disable toggle is locked with a tooltip:

"Disabling the search item is not allowed when the selected widget starting point is the search bar."

Why This Matters

🎯 Optimize your conversion flow
🧹 Clean up the UI for certain use cases
🔧 Increase flexibility in how the widget behaves

💡 Where You’ll See It

Under Settings > Widget > Widget Settings — look for the new toggle to show or hide the search bar.

If disabled, the search bar is completely removed across all steps of the widget.

Depending on the setting:

  • If the Search Bar is ON:
     – You can select “Search Bar” as your widget’s starting point.
     – You can also edit the placeholder text that appears in the search field.

  • 🚫 If the Search Bar is OFF:
     – The Search Bar will be hidden from all steps in the widget.
     – The “Search Bar” option will be disabled in the “Widget Starting Point” dropdown.
