What’s New

We’ve rolled out region-aware data hosting and introduced a self-service migration tool in Company Profile settings. Businesses can now select where their data is hosted (US or EU) during onboarding—or migrate at any time with clear visibility and status tracking.

🛠️ Key Features

🌍 Region-Specific Infrastructure

  • Public API split into regional endpoints:

    • api-us.reusely.com → US region

    • api-eu.reusely.com → EU region

  • Complete isolation of APIs, databases, queues, and search per region.

  • Ensures GDPR compliance and reduces latency for global customers.

📝 Onboarding Enhancements

  • The Business Country field determines hosting region (US or EU).

  • Business Address field pre-filled automatically based on country selection.

  • Future-ready Data Hosting Region dropdown (hidden until EU rollout stabilizes).

🏢 Company Profile – Region Migration

  • New Data Hosting Region section in Company Profile.

  • Dropdown/segmented control to select hosting region.

  • Guided migration flow:

    • Confirm Migration Modal → warns migration may take up to 48 hours.

    • Cancel Migration Modal → shown if reverting before migration completes.

  • Persistent Notification Bar on save:

    • “Your data hosting migration to [Selected Region] is in progress. This may take up to 48 hours.”

    • Cannot be dismissed until migration completes

  • Notification Center entry with status, ETA, and support link.

  • Clicking notification opens migration summary modal (region, ETA, support info).

Why This Matters

🛡️ Meets compliance & GDPR requirements for EU-based clients.
🔒 Strengthens data security with strict region isolation.
⚡ Improves performance by reducing latency.
📈 Empowers businesses to switch hosting regions without dev support.

💡 Where You’ll See It

  • Onboarding → Business Country + Business Address fields.

  • Settings Company Profile Settings → Data Hosting Region + migration flow.
