✨ What’s New
We’ve completely overhauled the Bulk Buyback program to address low adoption by introducing critical features for transparency and communication. Users can now preview contracts before sending quotes, and a new fully automated email notification system keeps both staff and customers informed at every step. These updates create a seamless, integrated experience, making the tool easier to use and white-label, ultimately driving more buyback transactions.
🛠️ Key Features
📄 Initial Contract Signing in the Customer Portal
Users can generate and preview a contract agreement during the "Quote" stage before it's finalized.
An email directs the customer to the Customer Portal, where they can review the terms and electronically sign to accept the initial offer.
The initial signed contract is automatically converted to a PDF and stored.
✍️ Reconciliation Approval with Signature in the Customer Portal
After items are inspected, a reconciliation report is sent to the customer.
The customer is prompted to log back into the Customer Portal to review the final breakdown and payout amount.
They must then electronically sign this report within the portal to provide final approval, which is required to trigger the payment process.
📧 Automated Email Workflows
Customizable email notifications are now automatically sent for every status change in the buyback lifecycle, including:
Quotes: Offer created and sent for review.
Signed Contracts: Agreement signed, shipping labels provided.
In-Transit, Received, Reconciled: Status updates as items move through the process.
Payout Processing & Complete: Payment status notifications.
New notification templates for Customer Notes, Quote Recovery, and Invoices have also been added.
🗂️ Centralized File Management
The Offer Detail page now features a dedicated "Files" section.
This section neatly organizes Reconciliation Reports and Signed Contracts, allowing for easy uploading and access.
Supported file types include PDF, CSV, XLSX, PNG, JPG, and HEIC.
🖥️ Enhanced Customer Portal
The Customer Portal now provides full visibility into the buyback process.
Customers can review and sign contracts, view shipping tracking numbers, and access all relevant documents like signed agreements and reconciliation reports.
The "Trade-in History" button has been renamed to "View Past Orders" for better clarity.
